Cleveland Area Hospital, a supportive Critical Access Hospital, is seeking a COTA who enjoys pediatrics, variety, and collaboration within a close-knit interdisciplinary team in a rural hospital setting.

We offer Flexible scheduling to fit your availability:M, W, F pediatric caseloadorExpanded schedule including Tuesdays & Thursdays, with opportunities for adult outpatient and inpatient coverage.   

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

- Provide therapeutic interventions to patients across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities

- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist

- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and strategies to promote ongoing recovery

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

- Comply with all regulatory and safety standards related to patient care and confidentiality

Requirements

 Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential from an accredited program

- Current state licensure or registration as required

- Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to patient-centered care

- Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and treatment plans
