Counselor (I, II, III) – Substance Use Disorder Treatment

We are seeking dedicated Counselors (Tier 1, 2, and 3) to join our clinical team in North Carolina. In this role, you'll guide patients through their recovery journey by providing counseling, treatment planning, and ongoing support that helps individuals build healthier futures.

What You'll Do 



  • Conduct patient assessments and participate in treatment planning 



  • Complete intake evaluations and facilitate group counseling sessions 



  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation 



  • Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling 



  • Conduct treatment plan reviews and participate in case conferences 



  • Educate patients on program expectations, rights, and recovery goals 



  • Coordinate referrals to community resources and support services 



  • Collect and administer urine/swab drug screens following chain-of-custody procedures 



  • Attend supervision, team meetings, and required trainings 



  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations and policies  


Qualifications:


Counselor I 


Minimum Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • CADC-R (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor – Registered)


Counselor II 


Required: 



  • Bachelor's Degree

  • One of the following credentials:

    • CADC

    • CADC I




Counselor III 


Required: 



  • Master's Degree

  • One of the following licenses/credentials:

    • LMFT

    • LCAS

    • LMSW

    • LPC

    • LSW
