Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking highly qualified professionals to provide subject matter expertise and comprehensive staff support for Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) strategic planning, coordination, and administrative functions. This position supports the ARNG Air & Space Division and States/Territories in developing and implementing C-UAS capabilities, policy frameworks, and training programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning & Analysis:

• Provide planning and analytical support in drafting C-UAS concepts for ARNG-ASD approval

• Facilitate coordination across manpower, equipment, organization, training, modernization, doctrine, funding, and policy impacts

• Conduct analytical reviews of existing standardization programs and recommend improvements

Policy & Documentation:

• Assist in drafting C-UAS policy guidance, training standards, and safety/standardization documentation

• Maintain historical and current documentation of C-UAS capabilities employed globally

• Collect and maintain documents in designated SharePoint/Teams repositories

Coordination & Liaison:

• Provide coordination and administrative package assembly support for State submissions of T10 130i approval requests

• Coordinate across HQDA, DEVCOM, NORTHCOM, and JIATF401

• Serve as coordination facilitator between States and HQDA

• Educate States on administrative processes and development of 130i packets

Briefing & Communication:

• Provide analytical and briefing support using various communication media

• Synthesize process, history, assumptions, facts, and limitations for ARNG leadership

• Prepare documentation and media for ARNG governance forums

Meeting Support:

• Participate in scheduled C-UAS coordination meetings with multiple stakeholders

• Provide written administrative summaries, decision trackers, and action-item logs

• Support meetings with ARNG-ASD, NGB, JIATF401, HQDA-DAMO Fires, Fires Center of Excellence, Maneuver Center of Excellence, and NORTHCOM

Specialized Support:

• Assist ARNG facilities on the Global Priority List in compiling T10 130i approval packets

• Provide data management support for required reporting to Department of War, HQDA, NGB, or Congress

• Provide analytical and drafting support for NGREA packages

• Perform ICE (Independent Cost Estimate) duties in support of Aviation and Safety Division's RMIC Program


Requirements

  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field 
  • Master's degree preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in military aviation,      air defense, or C-UAS operations
  • Demonstrated experience with Army National Guard or Active-Duty      Army operations
  • Experience with strategic planning and policy      development
  • Proven track record in coordination across multiple      military organizations

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Subject matter expertise in C-UAS system capabilities      and operations
  • Strong understanding of military doctrine, training      frameworks, and standardization processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint,      and Teams
  • Ability to prepare professional briefings and      presentations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Clearance:

  • Active Secret security clearance required; Top Secret      Eligible 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience with ARNG Air & Space Division      operations
  • Familiarity with T10 130i approval processes
  • Experience with HQDA, DEVCOM, NORTHCOM, or JIATF401
  • Knowledge of installation and force protection      planning
  • Experience with Independent Cost Estimate (ICE)      duties
  • Background in aviation, safety and standardization      programs

Salary Description

$135,000 -$140,000
