Courier

Summary of Duties: Provides prompt, efficient, courteous courier service to primarily commercial clients to transport client deposits.

Essential Functions:

1. May deliver and collect customer deposits and other bank-related materials from bank clients for processing at the bank office; maintain a log of all deposits picked up, including client name, amount of deposit, etc.

2. Delivers business statements, Board of Director notebooks and other items as required by management.

3. Performs miscellaneous business-related tasks such as purchasing supplies, picking up bank mail at the post office, filing, etc.

4. Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Position Requirements:

1. Valid driver's license with a good driving record; reliable vehicle (must be able to demonstrate in good working order).

2. May be required to find customer locations within Wayne and Oakland county

3. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of bank clients.

4. Excellent written and verbal skills

5. Prefer previous banking or customer service background.

• Environmental conditions may include working in the open air without heat and may occasionally be exposed to vehicle exhaust in the open air.
• Push/Pull: Moving /rearranging parcel/mail for delivery, opening and closing doors. Getting in and out of  vehicle. 
• Site: Road, in-vehicle, outdoors in different weather conditions, in and out of work and client building.
• Driving may include short or long-distance driving.
• Couriers will spend time in warehouse/depot facilities, their vehicles, and various offsite locations (e.g., Residential, commercial, off-street parking)
