🏛️ What You’ll Do
As the Court Administrator, you’ll be the architect behind the scenes — orchestrating daily court operations, guiding a multidisciplinary team, and shaping the systems that uphold our local justice. Your leadership will touch every aspect of the court’s ecosystem, from budget strategy to case management, from courtroom coordination to compliance oversight.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead with Purpose: Direct and optimize daily court operations, staffing, and workflow priorities.
Budget Strategist: Prepare, recommend, and monitor the court’s financial blueprint.
Public Liaison: Serve as a trusted resource for citizens, attorneys, judges, and law enforcement.
Team Builder: Train, mentor, and manage court personnel — including Bailiffs, Prosecutors, and Judges.
System Steward: Oversee and audit the case management system to ensure legal compliance and operational accuracy.
Innovation Driver: Recommend facility upgrades and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
Session Maestro: Coordinate court sessions, jail arraignments, and interpreter services with precision.
Records Guardian: Manage retention schedules, disposal protocols, and documentation standards.
Compliance Champion: Serve as Terminal Agency Coordinator, ensuring GCIC/NCIC adherence.
Cross-Agency Collaborator: Bridge communication between departments, probation services, and law enforcement.
Operational Analyst: Compile reports, reconcile warrants and bonds, and monitor performance metrics.
🧠 What You Bring
Deep knowledge of municipal court operations, legal terminology, and Georgia traffic laws.
Expertise in records management, GCIC procedures, and court software systems.
Exceptional communication, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
👥 Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the City Clerk, functioning as the Director of Operations for the Municipal Court.
