Hennepin County District Court invites qualified applicants to apply for a Court Operations Associate position in the Centralized Records Center. This is a diverse, professional environment that promotes equity for all court staff and court users. This position is highly detail-oriented, provides expert knowledge of court policies and procedures for all court divisions and involves advanced court operations and case processing work.
This is an entry-level position in a diverse, professional environment that promotes equity for all court staff and courts users. Court Operations Associates complete detail-oriented work on a variety of cases from multiple divisions while providing excellent customer service and copies of court records to members of the public and other court staff. This position assists court customers at the public service counter and answers routine phone calls and Live Help Now chats regarding the records request procedure and status updates of submitted requests.
This AFSCME-represented position is classified as a Court Operations Associate, with the same working title. The Centralized Records Center is located on the Skyway Level (A-260) of the Hennepin County Government Center at 300 South 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55487. Hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. This position is a combination of working onsite with occasional flexibility to work remotely based on assignments and business needs. A reliable internet connection is required when working remotely.
There are multiple options for public transportation, including discounted transit passes that include light rail lines and bus routes, and an optional transit expense account.

The expected starting salary for external candidates is $23.50 - $28.45 per hour, $49,068 - $59,403.60 annually. The offer will take into consideration other equivalent qualifications. The full classification earning potential is $21.45 - $35.44 per hour, $44,787.6 - $73,998.72 annually, with the top end of the range being what someone could be making after years of service in the role of Court Operations Associate.
This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for State of Minnesota employee benefits.
This AFSCME-represented position is posted for bidding, internal, and external application simultaneously and will be filled in accordance with the AFSCME contract.
