Court Runner

Job Overview:

The Court Runner at ABC Legal Services performs daily delivery of legal documents to the courts in person and picks up documents that have been issued by the courts. Documents received from the court are scanned into ABC system software, case information is entered into ABC’s database before being automatically electronically dispatched.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up documents from the court


• Deliver documents to ABC Legal office location


• Scan document into the ABC Legal document tracking system


• Enter relevant case information into ABC Database

Qualifications:

• Must be in Atlanta, Georgia area or willing to commute


• Minimum 6 months of related experience preferred


• Must be comfortable with multiple hours of driving between court locations, including often congested traffic conditions


• Familiarity with computer operating systems and PDF formatting


• Ability to learn new computer programs/software


• Must be a self-starter


• Valid drivers license and clean driving record required


• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Pay: $18.00 per hr. + mileage reimbursement

Work Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: 8am-5pm EST
