Job Description - Court Services Officer I (Resource Navigator) - 10th Judicial District

Position Title and Salary:                   Court Services Officer I (Resource Navigator)
Grade36 ($58,404.53 annually)
Location of Employment:                  10^th Judicial District, Olathe, Kansas

Kansas Judicial Branch Benefits:         State Employment Center - Benefits (ks.gov)

Job duties:   This position will serve as a resource navigator for the 10^th Judicial District Court and report to District Court Administration. Job duties may include but are not limited to facilitating the eviction mediation program; assisting with the family court triage tool; providing case management services to family court participants engaged in grant-funded substance abuse services. Additionally, this position will assist with language access needs and identify areas in which the District Court can improve access to justice for court participants.

Required education and experience:   Bachelor’s degree in a social services field with a minimum of one year of experience in court processes, direct client services, or other human services.

Preferred qualifications:   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a client centered approach; ability to deal with difficult situations and court-users in a respectful manner; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
