Basic Purpose: Maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and some public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.

• Clean guest rooms and stock with appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations. To include but not limited to: Picking up trash, changing linen and making bed, cleaning entire bathroom, replacing amenities, sweeping and dusting guest room, cleaning windows and balcony
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Retrieve, stock restock and store the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations.
• Receive assigned section, keys, supplies and any priority room requests from the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Turn in keys and unused supplies at the end of the shift.
• Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests when needed 
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned

1. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred (but not required) 
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
3. Strong attention to detail and time management skills 
4. Ability to speak and understand English 
5. Responsible and reliable.
6. Continuous standing and movement 100% of shift
7. Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: 50lbs
8. Bending/Kneeling: Frequent bending or kneeling while making beds and cleaning rooms
9. Mobility: Continuous movement throughout department and hotel 
10. Emphasis on cleanliness standards and quality control
11. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
12. Incredibly friendly, customer centric and loves to smile
