CPA Firm Seeks Experienced Auditor

Full-time opening available for experienced auditor in CPA firm conveniently located near the Walnut Creek Bart Station and close to downtown. Our firm has provided audit, assurance, accounting and tax solutions to businesses and individuals for over 35 years. This position will involve a variety of public accounting duties including but not limited to completing:

• Financial statement audits
  
  
  • Planning the audit and seeing it through completion
  
  
  • Preparing adequate documentation of testing in workpapers
  
  
  • Communication with client
  
  
  • Financial statement preparation, as necessary
  
  
  
  


• Review and compilation engagements


• Tax preparation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting


• 1-2 years minimum experience with a CPA firm


• Ability to work independently


• Strong oral and written communication skills


• Ability to meet deadlines while multitasking


• Attention to detail


• Strong documentation skills


• Ability to research


• Ability to identify issues and propose resolutions

Active CPA or CPA candidate required.

Experience with ProSystems fx Engagement, Lacerte tax and QuickBooks would be beneficial.
