Accountant, supports the financial operations of an organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting processes. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and supporting audits. Also, coordinates accounting matters with other departments.

Essential Key Responsibilities



  • Responsible for the preparation of various portions of the accounting close, including standards,




  • Fixed Asset subledger, manual journal entries, accrued expense and revenue functions.




  • Assist with auditor’s query and in the process of preparing the companies statutory accounts.\




  • Provide auditors with detailed information and supporting documents for periodic reviews.




  • Support payroll processing and analysis.




  • Ensure the monthly close cycle is completed in a timely and accurate manner.




  • Prepare financial statements with insight into variances against budget/ prior reporting periods/forecasts.




  • Use working knowledge of GAAP for Revenue accounting, recurring entries, prepaid Journal




  • Entries, Accruals and Fixed Assets.




  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.




  • Execute monthly SOX controls and provide SOX team with detailed information and supporting documentation for our internal controls monthly.




  • Maintain accurate US GAAP vs. Local GAAP reconciliations, providing insights into the primary differences.




  • Deliver key business projects, including system upgrades and new initiatives.




  • Collaborate with local finance and operations teams to drive change, add value, and maintain commercial awareness.




  • Advise finance, sales, and operational teams on new regulations, accounting issues, and ad-hoc requests.



Essential Skills and/or Certifications



  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing.




  • Qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred but not essential.




  • 2+ years significant financial and accounting experience




  • In-depth knowledge of local statutory accounting, regulations, and tax compliance.




  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while attention to process and detail;




  • Familiarity with taxation and transfer pricing is highly desirable.




  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft NetSuite, Workday)




  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact collaboratively cross functions and all levels




  • Ability to respond with urgency and collaborate effectively across all business functions.




  • Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to re-prioritization as necessary in a rapidly changing environment




  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially in developing formulas for analyzing large quantities of data in Excel.

  • Ability to travel by any form of transportation (if yes, please specify estimated




  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch and bend over for work at office premises and office events




  • Regular attendance in the office
