This team works hand in hand with other teams across Intel to deliver best-in-class performance and innovations across the XEON CPU portfolio. The candidates will work closely with team to define, study, and analyze innovative PnP features.Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences. Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork, classes, research.Minimum QualificationsMust be pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other science or engineering related field.

6 months experience with software or scripting programming languages such as C or C++, Python, Perl, etc.

6 months Coursework or project work experience dealing with one or more of the following areas: CPU architecture, performance modeling, simulation, power modeling, power/performance tradeoffs, data analysis.

Preferred QualificationsExperience in one or more of the following areas: power and performance data analysis; workload performance characterization, hardware performance counters and, or performance monitoring tools.

Skills in Python coding
