Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Designing and Delivering On-the-Job Training Programs
Evaluate current craft production processes.
Develop and deliver engaging and informative training including technical skills, planning and organization skills, productivity enhancement, safety, and quality control.
Skills Assessment and Development
Assess the skill levels of craft employees and identify areas for improvement.
Work with Field Talent Partners to develop training to address knowledge and skill gaps and enhance employee competencies.
Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support knowledge and skill development and increased performance.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and employee performance.
Generate reports on training progress, impact of craft development, improved productivity, and quality enhancement.
Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with self-perform teams across the company to compare best practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in craft development and assessment techniques.
Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in improving productivity and quality.
Complete other responsibilities as requested.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish speaking)
7-10 years of commercial trade experience as a production craft professional (framing and drywall or vertical and horizontal concrete).
3 years of Experience running production crews as a Foreman or above in respective trade.
Strong technical skills and expertise in planning, executing, and tracking productivity on large commercial projects.
Excellent communication and teaching skills, with ability to convey information in a clear and engaging manner.
Experience in delivering on-the-job training to craft professionals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Ability to travel.
