Job Description - Creative Arts Coordinator (Full-time/Days)
The Community Life Services Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs and services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents within our community. This role involves fostering a sense of belonging, engagement, and support among residents, while also addressing their diverse needs and interests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists with planning and coordinating activities and events, discussion groups & clubs, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, special entertainment, off-property trips, special events, in-house movies, instructional courses such as arts & crafts, seminars an MUCH MORE.
Assists with preparing and distributing the monthly calendar, weekly reminder, event flyers and newsletter
Maintains accurate documentation of resident’s activity attendance
Researches, plans and executes upcoming events and trips
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
