Compensation range: $25.88 - $29.32/HR

Position Summary
Location : San Francisco, CA (hybrid in-office)
Day Shift : Monday - Friday
The Creative Associate provides design and support to the team of Creative Specialists. The Creative Associate will assist in all aspects of the curation of ancillary furniture and production of client presentation materials, while supporting the two brand. The Creative Associate works within a team led by the Creative Studio Manager.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Creative Specialists to produce exceptional client presentations including lookbooks, budgets, validation packages, among other visual client-facing mediums
Curate ancillary options from a thorough understanding of a wide range of vendors
Assist in design conceptualization by supporting creative team and/or Creative Specialist in generating creative concepts for product options and layouts.
Capture product information needed for specification, pricing, programming, and schedules
Ability to read and understand floorplans, dimension space plans and plot furniture plans
Participate in industry events to keep product/services knowledge current
Assist in event planning of Marketing initiatives in support of the two brand that is distinctive and memorable to the marketplace.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s (BA) Degree
1-3 years’ design experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of Steelcase products and Systems furniture
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is preferred
Proficiency in CAD is preferred.
Experience in Photoshop & InDesign is a bonus
Meticulously detailed oriented
Eye for graphic and spatial composition
Ability to take direction well and willingness to act as member of the project team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Must have understanding and passion for interior design, space planning, workplace trends and ability to represent the two brand
Up-to-date knowledge of a range of furniture products appropriate for a variety of functions, spaces, aesthetics and budgets.
An understanding of typical manufacturers and furniture partners, price points, lead times, and product types available - and willingness to perpetually expand knowledge

Physical Requirements
Seeing, color perception, hearing/listening, clear speech, hand and finger dexterity, ability to move distances within and between warehouses/offices, driving. Complex reading and writing, basic math skills, judgment/decision making, analysis/comprehension
Work Environment
Regularly works with others and has both face-to-face and verbal contact, usually works inside. Occasionally works alone and does work outside. May also work around moving objects. Generally, works in an office environment with moderate noise. May require working off hours and/or weekends.
