Summary of Position
The Communications Coordinator provides creative leadership and direction for all Faith Family Church communication and design efforts. This role oversees graphic design, videography, and visual communication to ensure brand consistency, excellence, and spiritual impact across every platform.
Serving as the primary creative lead under the direction of the Creative Project Director and Creative Pastor, the Communications Coordinator helps shape and protect the visual identity of Faith Family Church. This role ensures that every communication channel—print, digital, social, video, and in-service environments—clearly reflects the heart, vision, culture, and mission of Faith Family Church while enhancing storytelling, atmosphere, and spiritual engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities
Creative Leadership
Direct and steward the creative vision, ensuring alignment with Faith Family Church’s mission, values, and brand standards.
Provide creative input that enhances storytelling, atmosphere, and spiritual engagement across services, events, and campaigns.
Oversee all graphic design, video, and visual communication efforts churchwide.
Collaborate with ministry leaders to develop creative concepts for services, events, campaigns, and ministry initiatives.
Provide final creative approval on all visual and communication materials prior to publication.
Graphic, Print & Video Production
Create and oversee production of graphic and video assets for services, events, and ministry initiatives.
Ensure all design and video work meets established brand standards and maintains a high level of visual excellence.
Coordinate with vendors on outsourced creative projects and manage production timelines.
Oversee all print design, ordering, and production for ministries and events.
Event Aesthetic & Visual Design
Lead the creative vision and aesthetic direction for major conferences, seasonal events, and churchwide gatherings.
Assist with visual and design elements for major conferences and seasonal events, ensuring cohesion across environments and platforms.
Partner with the Creative Project Director to ensure event visuals align with overall event vision, goals, and experience.
Church Merchandise Management
Manage church merchandise initiatives up to three times per year.
Ensure merchandise aligns with Faith Family Church’s brand, messaging, and seasonal emphasis.
Social Media & Marketing Strategy
Partner with the Creative Project Director and BVA to ensure consistent brand representation across all platforms.
Provide creative direction and input on messaging, campaigns, and promotional strategies.
Review and approve final creative content (graphics, video, copy) prior to publishing.
Ensure communication strategies align with Faith Family Church’s omni-channel approach (email, app, web, social, and print).
BVA & Vendor Communication
Serve as the primary liaison with BVA and third-party vendors for creative and marketing projects.
Lead weekly alignment meetings with BVA to review ideas, campaign direction, content planning, and marketing timelines.
Ensure all BVA deliverables are submitted for final creative approval prior to publishing.
Hold vendors accountable to timelines, brand standards, responsiveness, and agreed-upon deliverables.
Ensure timely vendor responses to online engagement, including messages, comments, and community interactions.
Approve and oversee churchwide emails, text campaigns, app messaging, and digital promotions.
Creative Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the Creative Team, including graphic designers, videographers, and Dream Team members.
Provide visionary leadership and creative direction to the Sunday Social Media Team.
Oversee creative team scheduling and ensure adequate resourcing for all projects.
Foster a healthy, life-giving team culture that reflects the values and mission of Faith Family Church.
Weekend Programming
Provide clear creative direction to the Sunday Social Media Team in support of ongoing communication strategies.
Ensure all media teams are properly scheduled, trained, and supported through Planning Center (PCO).
Manage service rundowns in PCO.
Oversee front-row communication with the Production Team during services.
Review and provide feedback during Weekend Service rehearsals.
Select Worship Song Backgrounds in collaboration with Production Director.
Maintain consistent weekly communication with team leaders to ensure clarity and alignment.
Care & Connection
Care: Invest 2–4 hours weekly in caring for and connecting with members of Faith Family Church.
Crisis Care: Support team members and congregants during crisis situations (death, hospitalization, offense, etc.).
Small Groups: Lead a small group each semester and assist in recruiting and launching at least five small groups during Spring and Fall semesters.

Keys to Success: How can I succeed in this position?
Have the required knowledge:
Working knowledge of computers and basic computer programs, such as Planning Center, Monday.com, Google Suite, Expensify, Bamboo HR, Mailchimp, and Clearstream
Know and understand the culture and strategy of FFC.
