Job Description - Creative Manager - Customer Journey

The Creative Manager – Customer Journey will operate under the supervision of the Director – Global Customer Journey Creative Services, overseeing all creative projects for local advertising and creative services, while also collaborating on national projects as needed. They will develop expertise in our brand, products, and design guidelines. Working closely with the Manager of Local Strategy and the Field Marketing team, the Creative Manager will contribute to creative briefs to ensure that communication goals are clearly articulated, setting our on-site agency up for success. They will initiate projects, provide creative direction, and present work that is both on-brand and aligned with our business objectives. The impact of this role will be visible at thousands of restaurants and seen by millions of people every month. The ideal candidate will be obsessed with quality, bring a unique and fresh perspective, and should be hungry—both literally and figuratively.
Responsibilities

Consult on creative briefs for local campaigns alongside Manager of Local Strategy and in partnership with the Field Marketing team. (~200 projects annually.)
Lead the local on-site agency creative team (2-3 designers) and partner with the production team and project leads. Provide creative direction and feedback in weekly reviews, ensuring the priorities of communication are clear and align with the brief. (~1000 assets annually.)
Provide feedback and approvals on external submissions by franchisees and corporate partners. (500+ asset approvals annually.)
Present alongside the creative team and secure buy-in from marketing and field leadership.

What we expect from you

Bachelors Degree in graphic design, advertising, or related field is preferred.
8-10 years of experience in a creative marketing/graphic design role within a fast-paced restaurant, retail, or agency environment.
5+ years of experience leading creative for marketing campaigns.
Experience in developing and working with design systems and guidelines for multiple brands across various channels.
Strong written and verbal communication skills specifically related to presenting creative.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience directing photoshoots and/or animation.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is 20% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
