• Job Overview

As a Creative Technologist at LayerZero Power Systems, you'll be at the forefront of translating complex ideas into compelling visuals, immersive web experiences, and impactful marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for a visionary storyteller passionate about pushing the boundaries where technology and design intersect. You will thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven, and collaborative environment, contributing your unique skill set in visual communication, design, and technology to create impactful work that makes a real difference for a company shaping the future of mission-critical operations.

Video 

• Create and edit high-end video content.
• Manage and maintain video and lighting gear.

Photography 

• Stage, capture, and edit photos for product launches, events, marketing materials, and the website.
• Manage and organize the digital asset library.

Graphic Design

• Design graphics, layouts, brochures, signage, and presentations that align with the LayerZero® brand identity.
• Ensure design quality across all customer-facing materials.

Web Development

• Build and maintain dynamic, user-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS, PHP, and  JavaScript.
• Ensure pages are functional, visually consistent, and up to date.

Marketing Expertise

• Contribute to campaigns, content creation, and SEO/SEM strategy.
• Track emerging trends and integrate them into marketing efforts.
• Design and post content for social platforms (images, videos, infographics).
• Write captions and help grow audience engagement.

Tech Trendsetter

• Serve as our resident tech explorer, working closely with designers, marketers, and engineers to bring ideas to life.
• Seek new tools and creative technologies to improve the team’s work.

Team Player

• Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers, and other team members to achieve shared goals and create remarkable work. 

Required Qualification:

• Experience: Proven experience in video editing, graphic design, web development, and marketing
• Technical Proficiency:
•      Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Dreamweaver).
•      HTML, CSS, database, and ability to work with PHP and JavaScript.
•      Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
• Skills
•      Eye for pixel-perfect design aligned with brand guidelines.
•      Ability to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies.
•      Curiosity for technology and commitment to staying ahead of trends.
•      Clear communicator with problem-solving skills.
•      Brand-focused mindset with attention to detail.
•      Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your creative work across different mediums.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working with 3D models (Keyshot experience preferred).
• Prior experience working with databases and dynamically-generated data.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand at a desk.
• Operate photography/video equipment and other office technology.
• Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with others.

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related: Visual Communication Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Web Design, Animation, Industrial Design, Photography, Film/TV Production, Software or Computer Science (with multimedia focus), or Electrical Engineering (with digital media focus).
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Alien status
