Resolution Think LLC is seeking a USARC Credentialing Specialist to provide centralized credentialing and privileging services and support to the US Army Reserve Command (USARC). This role involves initial entry credentialing, maintenance of credentialing and privileging, and supporting the Centralized Credentials Privileging Board's review of completed files. The specialist will also assist USARC in developing the accessions credentialing process and serve as a point of contact for USARC providers regarding centralized credentialing and privileging.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
Manage the verification process for all healthcare professionals (physicians, dentists, nursing, allied health).
Review applications for completion.
Verify state licensure.
Collect information from the National Physician Data Bank and the Health Care Integrity and Protection Databank.
Collect information from State Licensing activities and their State Emergency System for Advance Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals.
Provide direct supervision to support staff in administering all aspects of application processing.
Implement USARC policies and standards to ensure credentialing operations are in compliance.
Work with applicants and USARC staff to support and enhance credentialing functions.
Complete verifications and ensure the organization and staff adhere to USARC directives and industry trends and standard credentialing procedures.
Compile all documents and build credential review files for review by the Centralized Credentials Privileging Board, and document results.
Generate and mail notification letters of credentialing results to applicants and/or respond to questions from applicants regarding status of credentialing.
Enter data in the CCQAS as directed.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare, Quality Assurance, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3 years of experience, including experience with medical credentialing.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Organization skills and ability to be detail-oriented and accurate in work produced.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint).
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or Interim Secret clearance.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Experience in the DOD credentials process.
Experience with CCQAS.
Leadership experience/ability/aptitude.
Certification from National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).
Requirements:
Credentialing: Ability to pass background check and drug screen. Current physical and immunizations.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
