Job Title: Credit Analyst I

Reports to: Senior Credit Analyst, Y&A Credit Services

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Job Summary: The Credit Analyst I will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit. The Credit Analyst will also be responsible for reviewing clients accounts, preparing reports, and consulting client financial institutions on their credit decisioning based on the overall analysis.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

•  Evaluate creditworthiness of applicants.
•  Maintain records of client accounts.
•  Conduct research on the creditworthiness of potential clients.
•  Monitor client accounts for delinquencies and other irregularities.
•  Provide client service in the office and over the phone.
•  Assist in the development of loan policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

•  Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study from four-year college or university.
•  3-5+ years of demonstrated experience in credit analysis is strongly preferred.
•  Experience with non-centralized workforce and hybrid working strongly preferred.
•  Experience in the Financial Industry is a plus.
