Credit Portfolio Officer

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Officer for its Wilmington, Delaware location.

Duties: Develop, manage, and oversee underwriting strategy and procedures that support Citi’s installment loans. Contribute to business growth by accelerating new business development efforts. Work with counterparts from Business, Sales, Credit Operations, Decision Management, Operations and Technology to ensure correct policy implementation at an operational level. Provide analytics at portfolio and segment levels for the purpose of monitoring and making appropriate policy adjustments with the focus on optimizing of P&L. Provide sound credit decisions with the ultimate goal of optimizing underwriting strategy. Conduct regular post-implementation validation of policy changes as well as new risk strategy developments. Maintain and automate the periodic MIS reporting for internal audit and regulatory compliance. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related field and 2 years of experience as a Senior Analyst - Credit Risk or related position developing installment loan underwriting strategy and procedures for a financial services institution. 2 years of experience must include: SAS, SAS Studio; Data visualization; Analytical and technical skills in Machine learning; Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Tableau; Credit risk analytics; Underwriting strategy optimization; Financial analytics; and Portfolio development and customer level P&L optimization strategy building.
