Credit/Counterparty Risk Manager

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct comprehensive background/KYC checks on potential investors, trading partners, service providers, and other counterparties 

• Develop and maintain a robust ODD framework for evaluating new and existing relationships 

• Handle and respond to investor ODD enquiries in a timely and professional manner 

• Assess and monitor counterparty credit risk across all external relationships 

• Implement and maintain KYC/AML procedures in compliance with applicable regulations 

• Prepare credit risk reports and escalate concerns to senior management 

• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on onboarding documentation and agreements 

• Maintain detailed records and documentation for regulatory examinations and audits 

• Stay current with regulatory developments affecting KYC, AML, and counterparty risk management 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, or related field 

• 3–5 years of experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, KYC/AML, or due diligence within international banks or alternative investment firms 

• Strong understanding of KYC/AML regulations and best practices 

• Experience conducting background checks and due diligence on investors and counterparties  

• Excellent verbal and communication skills
