Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Location: This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Atlanta's Buckhead area, offering direct collaboration with attorneys and the broader legal team.

Note: Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in Georgia and have 3+ years of litigation experience, including at least 1 year of creditors' rights, commercial collections, or closely related commercial litigation experience.

Job Description

  • Manage creditors' rights and commercial collections litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
  • Appear in court for hearings, conferences, motions, and other proceedings.
  • Develop litigation and collection strategies designed to maximize client recoveries.
  • Handle pre-suit negotiations, workouts, settlement discussions, and enforcement matters.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, status, risks, and recommended next steps.
  • Manage an active caseload while maintaining strong organization, responsiveness, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on complex or multi-jurisdictional matters.

Qualifications

  • Active Georgia Bar license required.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience required.
  • 1+ year of creditors' rights, commercial collections, or related commercial litigation experience required.
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
  • Ability to independently manage litigation matters and competing deadlines.
  • Additional state bar admissions are a plus.
