Crew Member (Crew Leader in training)

OBJECTIVE:
It is the responsibility of the individual in this position to perform all duties as required by the WX Manager in weatherizing homes and performing emergency home repair on homes of low-income families. The person in this position will also work towards achieving ROMA goals.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
a) Perform weatherization and related program duties to include insulating, heating system work, sealing air leaks and thermal bypasses. Duties may also include general home repair measures.
b) Test and diagnose air flow systems, using furnace efficiency analyst equipment.
c) Apply insulation materials such as loose and foam insulation to attics, crawl spaces, basements, or walls.
d) Perform basic computations.
e) Understand and follow written and oral directions.
f) Use tools, materials and vehicles while performing duties. Report loss and/or damage to tools, materials and equipment.
g) Clean and maintain all tools and vehicles used for weatherization.
h) Effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all organizational levels.
i) Operate Agency/Personal vehicles for official business purposes in a safe manner.
j) Report to Department of Social Services all suspected child, aged or incapacitated adult abuse and neglect as required by law.
k) Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Housing Director, WX Manager, Crew Leader and/or Chief Executive Officer.
l) Participate in professional development offered for this position.
