Crib Attendant

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Crib Attendant in our Windsor, Ontario Cold Stamping Facility. The Crib Attendant is responsible for supporting the plant buyer and shop floor. The ideal candidate will have strong organization skills, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Physically receives MRO items


• Receives MRO items in CMS and/or Visual


• Store MRO items in an orderly fashion


• Maintaining proper min/max based on usage/criticality


• Perform weekly cycle counts, record results, investigate discrepancies in conjunction with buyers


• Support buyer in facilitating any physical inventories including year end inventory


• Record material issues, receipts and transfers


• Communicate with suppliers about mis shipments, damaged shipments or any other issues while keeping buyers and AP in the loop


• Review MRP reports and advise what is needed for ordering

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong coordination and organizational skills


• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence


• Ability to work independently and problem solve


• The ability to lift and handle 30 - 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ERP system (CMS) a bonus


• Computer competency required (Excel)
