The Role You’ll Play as a Crisis Case Manager II
As a Crisis Case Manager II, you’ll be a vital part of our community-based crisis response team, working alongside a clinician or peer support specialist to provide timely, face-to-face support for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. You’ll meet people where they are—whether that’s at home, work, or in a public space—to de-escalate, stabilize, and connect them with services that can prevent hospitalization, arrest, or emergency room visits.
This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, resourceful, and passionate about helping others navigate difficult moments with dignity and support.

Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of work experience in the human services field and education with one year of experience substituting for one year of education.
· Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
· Basic personal computer skills which enable the entry, retrieval and use of electronic data.
· A valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance maintained in accordance with Pawnee policy and procedure.
Preferred:
· Knowledge of the needs and challenges of adults and children who experience Severe and Persistent Mental Illness and Severe Emotional Disturbance.
· Experience with Microsoft Office software.
Results of criminal and all other applicable background checks must meet the approval of Pawnee Mental Health Services.
