Job Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for outpatient gastroenterology procedures in a high-quality ambulatory surgery center
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and patient evaluations
• Monitor patients throughout anesthesia procedures and recovery phases
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation and anesthesia records
• Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for outpatient anesthesia care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical team meetings

Required Qualifications

• Current, active CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) license
• Eligible for Florida state credentialing and licensure
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient anesthesia settings
• GI anesthesia or gastroenterology procedure experience
• Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) experience
