Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures in an outpatient setting
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients
• Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout endoscopic procedures
• Manage patient recovery and post-anesthesia care
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs

Required Qualifications

• Current, active CRNA license in good standing
• Ability to meet credentialing and privileging requirements in the state of Florida
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• GI endoscopy or gastroenterology anesthesia experience
• Outpatient surgery center or ambulatory care experience
• PALS certification
