Job Description: Crop Insurance Processor/CSR

Full-time (40 hours/week-In Person) We are looking for a hard-working, ambitious individual to join our team! What You will Do: In this role, you will work closely with our team of agents and CSRs to service our sizable book of business through out the crop year.

Responsibilities include:

· Assist with customer communication, information gathering and inputting customer data, and reviewing documents for accuracy.

· Utilize multiple crop insurance company (AIP) systems for data entry, and generate the required paperwork prior to each deadline, and submit notices of loss when necessary

· Maintain accuracy and details of customer files, which includes scanning documents for electronic files, and generating invoices and receipting payments

· General knowledge of Multi-Peril Crop Insurance as well as Crop Hail Insurance policies and procedures to assist the sales team and answer questions from customers

· Complete training and continuing education classes required to maintain licenses

What it takes to Join Our Team:

Strong computer skills are required to quickly learn our multiple systems

High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization and time management skills

Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines, work under pressure, and multi-task

· An agricultural background is preferred but not required

· Office or customer service experience preferred

· No insurance experience required

· We will assist you in working towards obtaining your IL Property and Casualty Insurance license, as well as the training requirements to obtain your IL Crop Insurance License.
