Job Description - Crossline Kids Program Coordinator

Program Coordinator Job Description



The Program Coordinator for Crossline Kids is a vital member of the Crossline Kids team. This person must excel in recruiting, building, and overseeing volunteer teams. Equipping a team to directly invest in the lives of children is a high calling. While the Crossline Kids staff works collaboratively to further the ministry, the Program Coordinator must have a genuine love for people and a commitment to keeping volunteers informed, supported, and aligned with ministry procedures.


 


REGULAR DUTIES:


During the week:



  • Attend weekly Crossline Kids staff

  • Attend Monday all staff meeting

  • Order and organize all supplies necessary for ministry for Sunday morning large groups and Faithbuilders Tuesday evenings.

  • Set up rooms and supplies for Sunday mornings (preferably Thursday)

  • Keep supply rooms, ministry containers and in room lockers organized

  • Recruit, and track processing of all new volunteers

  • Manage the scheduling of volunteers Through CCB and the LEAD app

  • Volunteer team building, care and

  • Conduct administrative duties such as, reminder calls, volunteer e-mail updates, preparing and placing curriculum and continually updating volunteer

  • Work with the preschool director and staff to successfully share


Pre-services Sundays:



  • Arrive no later than 8:00 m. on Sunday mornings. Set up check in stations, set up volunteer room, and make final arrangements for each of the rooms.

  • Lead Team Huddle at 8:30am. The huddles will include prayer, plan for the day, any announcements and tips to help with curriculum.

  • Be at the top of the stairs before services and after services to greet, answer questions and build relationships with Crossline families as they are dropping off and picking up.


During services Sundays:



  • Provide volunteer support and lead in classroom if

  • Supervise and train volunteers to know and execute proper policies and

  • Train and equip volunteers by demonstrating working with children in a safe and loving way.

  • Take student and volunteer count for each Sunday



Post services Sundays:



  • Supervise the shutdown of Crossline Kids and prepare spaces for weekday

  • Send picture of the count to the Crossline Kids (Kim Brooks)


 


Mid-week Program support:



  • Schedule classroom leaders, 2 per

  • Communicate with

  • Run leader meeting at 6:00pm.


 


 


 


Special Events:



  • Participate with Kids team in planning and execution of all church events e. Easter Sunday, Easter Community event, Journey to Bethlehem, Christmas Eve, TVBS, etc.


 


 


 


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS



  • Demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit as evidence of a growing Christ-centered life (Galatians 5:16-25, Ephesians 5:18-21).

  • Maintain healthy, positive and fruitful personal Be a people- person with a contagious spirit and have a pulse on the culture.

  • Be goal-oriented with a big vision for growth and doing great things for

  • Be skilled at personal follow up and discipleship and be able to model, teach and lead people through getting in, getting healthy, getting strong and getting

  • Be teachable and faithful in learning from and following those in authority over him/her and fully supporting the vision of the Founding Senior Pastor.

  • Fulfill the duties required of Crossline Church members as outlined in the membership covenant.

  • A fully supportive spouse (if married).

  • Philosophical alignment with church

  • Committed to continued


 


ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE:



  • Work week: Sunday (5 hours) – Thursday / Tuesday evening for Faithbuilders sessions

  • Hours: 30 hours to qualify for

  • Extended hours: Possibly more hours during special events and prep for those events.
