Ragle Dental Laboratory is seeking a Crown & Bridge / CAD-CAM Dental Technician to join our team in Champaign, Illinois.
Experience in crown & bridge or CAD/CAM dental technology is preferred, but not required. We are willing to provide on-site training for the right candidate who is dependable, detail-oriented, has good hand skills, and is eager to learn.
This is a full-time, in-house position working with both traditional and digital dental laboratory processes.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include:
Designing crowns, bridges, implant restorations, and other fixed restorations using 3Shape CAD software
Working with zirconia and other restorative materials
Contouring, staining, glazing, characterizing, and finishing restorations
Checking margins, contacts, occlusion, anatomy, and esthetics
Assisting with milling, sintering, and 3D printing processes
Working with implant and full-arch restorative cases
Zirconia preparation and coloring, including MiYO
Assisting with custom shade appointments
Following dentist prescriptions and laboratory quality standards
Working closely with other technicians throughout the production process
Requirements
Qualifications
Dental laboratory experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong attention to detail
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
A willingness and ability to learn new techniques and technology
Dependability and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good communication and organizational skills
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
Crown & Bridge dental laboratory work
3Shape CAD software
Digital dental workflows
Zirconia restorations
Milling, sintering, and 3D printing
Implant or full-arch restorations
Staining, glazing, or MiYO
Dental anatomy and occlusion
CDT certification
