Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your Packing skills and be an essential part of a fast-paced, dynamic team? This local Cheese Producer is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their 1st shift team as a Packer.
Hours: 6am until done, Mon-Fri; Every other Saturday, 6am until done
Pay: $19.00/hour
Packer Responsibilities:
- Load cheese products into packages processing equipment
- Verify and record product, packaging, and other information on specified forms and records
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specs are met
- Sort, weigh, and inspect products
- Verify and adjust product weight or measurement to meet specs
- Verify accuracy and correctness of product ID labels and attach to finished packaged items
- Remove finished packaged items from machine
- Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material
- Palletize packaged product
- Move pallets of cheese and totes in and out of production areas
- Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of packaged products
- Tend to operate machine that packages product
Packer Requirements:
- Previous machine operator experience
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Demonstrate good attendance
