POSITION PURPOSE: Manages and directs the Assisted Living towards its primary objectives as established by the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, following all applicable Federal, State and Local guidelines, rules and regulations, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Others may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages subordinate supervisors, administrative staff and through them, all employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of employees and departments.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
NON ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
All job functions are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Must hold a current license as an Assisted Living Administrator in the State of Oregon. Four
years of college required in a health care, finance, administration, or related field preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret industry related journals and financial reports. Ability to
respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members
of the Public. Ability to effectively present information to Supervisors, public groups, and/or
Board of Directors.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current license as an Assisted Living Administrator in the State of Oregon
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must have an ability to communicate and practice empathy for those families and residents
during critical periods of the residents stay.
