Cryptologic Computer Scientist Level 1-4

POSITION SUMMARY:   We are actively hiring Cryptologic Computer Scientists to join our team. Cryptologic Computer Scientists use computer science skills, expertise, and tradecraft to analyze information and solve intelligence analysis, discovery, and Cybersecurity problems.  

 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard to cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework.
• Analyze software, programming, operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, and algorithms analysis.
• Create analysis of software prototypes. 
• Conduct technical problem-solving and design, and use algorithms and software to analyze data.
• Knowledge of discovery of passive and active systems or other cryptologic computer science mission support.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  TS/SCI with polygraph is required.  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• ALL degrees must be in Computer Science (CS). Related fields (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered relevant if the programs contain, at minimum, a concentration of courses in the following foundational CS areas: algorithms; computer architecture (not network architecture); programming methodologies and languages; data structures; logic and computation; and advanced mathematics (for example, calculus, discrete mathematics). Information Technology (IT) or Information Systems (IS) degrees may be considered relevant if the programs contain the amount and type of coursework equivalent to a CS major.

LEVEL 1:

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or;
• Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is related to the position.

LEVEL 2:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or;
• Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or;
• Doctoral degree and 2 years of relevant experience or;
• Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is related to the position.

LEVEL 3:

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or;
• Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or;
• Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or;
• Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is related to the position.

LEVEL 4:

• Bachelor's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or;
• Master's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience or;
• Doctoral degree plus 7 years of relevant experience or;
• Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is related to the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Experience using multiple analytical computer systems/tools. (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures) and apply them to each problem to provide state-of-the-art analysis, techniques, tools, and approaches.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

• 8-hour shifts or required by the customer. 

PAY RANGE:

Pay Range: $80,000 - $180,000 a year

MultiLingual Solutions (MLS) pay range and level are general guidelines for this job. Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
