Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant medical history accurately in electronic health records.
• Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques through continuous education.

Certfications: ARRT R, BLS

Charting System: Epic

Skills

• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, specifically CT scanning.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to diagnostic radiology.
• Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols as they relate to imaging procedures.
• Experience or knowledge in other imaging modalities such as X-ray, mammography, or sonography is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Pay: $68.95 per hour
