The CT Technologist:

• Performs a variety of duties directly involving the use of the CT scanner and accessory equipment


• Must
  have a working knowledge of all operational aspects of CT scanning,
  including scheduling, patient preparation, record keeping, and equipment
  operation


• Complies with Florida Department of Health standards


• Demonstrates initiative and requires minimal supervision

Qualifications

• High school graduate


• Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program in an AMA-approved school


• Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT)


• Clear/active Florida licensure (CRT)


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification


• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills


• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment


• Ability
  to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching,
  kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
