What you will be doing: CT Technologist

• Perform CT examinations according to physicians' orders.
  


• Utilize sophisticated CT equipment.
  


• Consider individual patients' special or age-related needs.
  


• Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal images.
  

Experience you will need: CT Technologist

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  


• Upon hire: Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board.
  


• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  


• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
