About the Opportunity:

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading Level I Trauma Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, PA to find a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist. This is an excellent opportunity for a CT professional to play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to critically ill and injured children.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on pediatric patients using advanced imaging technology, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Accurately position patients for examinations while maintaining a calm and reassuring bedside manner.
• Administer contrast agents following established protocols and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper infection control procedures are followed.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and minimize patient exposure.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in CT technology and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed CT Technologist (R)(CT) in the state of Pennsylvania with certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a hospital setting, preferably with pediatrics.
• Strong understanding of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (with weekend & holiday rotation on-call).
