CT Technologist-Imaging Services Night Shift

Description

Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality computed tomography (CT scans) images according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.      

Requirements

•  Graduate of a radiographer program.     
• One (1) year of clinical CT and/or Radiation Technology experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi is required. 
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology and Computed Tomography.
• CT Technologist Initial Competency; Proper Labeling of Medicine and Solutions; Power Injection Utilizing Power Ports; Power Injection Utilizing Central Venous Catheter; IV Access
• Image Gently/Image Wisely
