ZoomCare is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team!
The CT/X-Ray Technologist is responsible for reviewing patient histories, maintaining privacy, and supporting daily operations of the CT and X-ray facility. Responsibilities include quality control of CT scanner performance, PACS operation, and ensuring accurate facility records. Collaborate with colleagues and healthcare team members to uphold quality assurance standards and deliver exceptional patient care. The Technologist is responsible for delivering an optimal patient experience while taking routine and specialized CT and/or X-ray examinations.

- ZoomCare Lloyd District Super Clinic - 607 NE Grand Ave. Portland, OR 97232
- Sunday - Tuesday | 10:00am - 10:00pm
- 36 hours per week
- Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional mandatory training requirements that are outside of your scheduled shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Apply independent, professional, ethical judgment, and critical thinking to safely perform diagnostic procedures.
- Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.
- Assist with the daily operation of the CT and X-Ray facility.
- Perform quality control procedures to ensure that the CT scanner operates at optimal levels.
- Exercise responsibility to ensure that the CT scanner is functioning accurately.
- Operate the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Exercise responsibility for the maintenance and accuracy of facility reports, database records, and logs.
- Ensure that the CT or X-Ray examination results meet the facility standards for Quality Assurance before findings are released for interpretation.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- 1+ year experience in both CT and X-Ray.
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- State license holder (OBMI or WA DOH).
- Competent and able to perform all routine and specialized CT and X-Ray examinations.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications.
- Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
- Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
- Current BLS w/ AED training CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Certification in phlebotomy; knowledge of venipuncture, ability to locate an accessible vein, and to draw a blood sample.
- Can easily navigate a computer and learn new software.

- Other Compensation: Sign-on bonus up to $10,000!
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
- Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.
- Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at time.
- Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.
- Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
- Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
- Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to be fit tested and wear a respirator, when required.
- Ability to travel to onsite locations where imaging care is provided.
- Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator
