CTO Exchange

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the technology strategy and architecture of the crypto exchange.
  
  

• Design and develop a high-load matching engine, order management systems, risk management, and market data systems.
  
  

• Implement security, redundancy, and protection standards against unauthorized access.
  
  

• Develop and integrate APIs for users, market makers, and external partners.
  
  

• Lead and oversee the engineering architecture: backend, frontend, QA, DevOps.
  
  

• Shape the product development roadmap and participate in release and system migration planning.
  
  

• Organize CI/CD, testing, and monitoring processes.
  
  

• Develop internal standards for code review, documentation, and engineering practices.
  
  

• Build a strong engineering culture focused on quality, autonomy, and transparency.
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as CTO / Head of Engineering / Lead Architect in crypto or trading projects.
  
  

• Proven experience in building and launching a crypto exchange or trading platform (spot, futures, margin).
  
  

• Deep understanding of trading system architecture, order books, settlement systems, and risk management.
  
  

• Knowledge of CEX infrastructure and principles of integration with payment gateways, custody services, and liquidity providers.
  
  

• Experience designing microservices architectures and working with high-load backend systems.
  
  

• Strong skills in team leadership and building an engineering culture.
  
  

Understanding of requirements for security, redundancy, and regulatory compliance.
