CTS Lab Technician

The Lab technician is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, verification, documentation, and initial processing of samples entering the laboratory. This position ensures samples are properly identified, logged, labeled, tracked, and prepared for subsequent laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and chain-of-custody requirements. The Lab Technician reviews sample documentation for completeness and accuracy, identifies and communicates discrepancies, maintains organized records, and coordinates the movement of samples between intake and laboratory areas. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, quality-focused laboratory environment.
