CT/X-Ray Technologist- Weekend Overnights

Schedule/Shifts: 36 hours/week, 12 hour Overnight shifts, 7:00pm - 7:00am Friday - Sunday. Expected to start the week of 12/27.

Location: Hospital/clinic settings in Alexandria, MN.

Pay rate: Up to $80/hour, depending on experience! (Up to $2,880/week)

*This is considered a temporary assignment that is expected to last around 13 weeks, potentially longer!

What we ask of you:

• Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to the examination.


• Prepares patients for CT procedures, explaining the procedure, and positioning patient's body parts appropriately.


• Perform routine and advanced CT procedures on designated portions of the body used by physicians to diagnose and treat a patient's illness/injury with minimal supervision while providing patient support throughout the procedure. Adjust CT scan parameters and dose reduction techniques as needed.


• Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiology team, follow physician instructions precisely, and accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).


• Maintain a clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers, and maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect after each use.


• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements, and ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.


• Assist with maintaining an updated CT protocol manual and software upgrades, and monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.


• All other duties as assigned.

What we require of you:

• 
  ARRT certification, current and in good standing.


• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.


• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.


• Experience and comfort utilizing CT equipment/techniques, prior Siemens experience required. 5-15 years of CT experience preferred.


• CT certification is required.


• IV competency is a plus but not required.


• Bilingual preferred but not required.
