What You’ll Do:
As Lead Line Cook, you will be responsible for the daily execution of meal service while serving as the on-site leader ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational stability.
Lead daily meal preparation and service according to approved menus and recipes
Ensure meals are served on time, at proper temperatures, and meet quality standards
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all regulations
Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving through approved vendors
Direct kitchen workflow, assign tasks, and adjust staffing coverage as needed
Step into food production or service roles to maintain uninterrupted operations
Monitor waste, portion control, and cost awareness during daily operations
Collaborate with program leadership and respond to feedback from individuals served
Maintain accurate documentation related to food safety and inventory
Who You Are:
High school diploma or GED preferred
ServSafe certification required
Experience in food preparation within a structured or program setting preferred
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and organization
Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment
Reliable, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Committed to individual empowerment, recovery principles, and community integration
Two years of sobriety preferred
