What You Will Do:
Prepare food according to approved menus, recipes, and portion standards, supporting timely production and service of all scheduled meals
Maintain food quality, temperature, and presentation, and assist with meal setup, service, and breakdown
Perform dishwashing and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, completing required temperature logs and cleaning checklists
Maintain clean, organized workstations and comply with inspection and regulatory requirements
Assist with prep, cooking, and service as directed, and support proper storage, labeling, and inventory rotation
Receive and put away deliveries as assigned, and participate in daily cleaning and closing procedures
Report to work as scheduled and on time, communicating callouts or schedule issues promptly
Follow direction from the Kitchen Lead and Regional Supervisor when present, contributing to a respectful, team-oriented work environment
Prepare meals that support client dignity, recovery, and treatment goals, respecting dietary accommodations and special meal requirements
Maintain a professional presence in client-facing areas
Who You Are:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
ServSafe certification required
Food preparation experience in a program setting preferred
Two years of sobriety preferred
Valid driver's license and vehicle available for use during all working hours required
Committed to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration
Good verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems
Weekend availability required
