SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking experienced and driven Curb Machine Operators for our growing concrete business based in Dillsburg, PA.  This individual should have a minimum of two years; relevant operating experience. Work is primarily in Central PA and surrounding areas.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safely operates and maintains the curb machine 


• Performs pre-operations safety inspections


• Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition 


• Reads and understands blueprints and cut sheets 


• Sets and checks grades; responsible for setup of string line
  


• Ability to take direction from site foreman to complete daily tasks and meet project goals for job site
  


• Travels from job site to job site when/as needed


• Works closely with other crew members; in a fast-paced environment 
  


• Performs other labor duties as assigned by foreman or project manager
  


• Follows all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years of age


• Possesses a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach assigned job sites


• 2-3+ years of relevant operating experience; preferably in concrete work
  


• Must be able to set and check grades


• Must be able to read blueprints and cut sheets


• Must have knowledge of vibrator placement, sensor placement and mold placement


• Must have knowledge of string line set up
  


• Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions


• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines


• Experience with hand tools associated with the trade
  


• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
