Custodial Area Supervisor - Hiring Urgently

Join our team as an Area Supervisor overseeing janitorial operations across multiple locations in Los Angeles. This position offers a temp-to-hire opportunity, starting with training for 1-2 weeks before potential permanent placement.

• Location: Los Angeles, CA
• Pay Rate: $55k - $60k (Depending on Experience)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, Start time between 2pm - 4pm (flexibility required)

Office/Administrative:

• Manage payroll submission and modification.
• Enforce disciplinary actions when needed.
• Conduct safety training for custodial staff.
• Review and approve vacation requests.
• Assist with recruitment and interviews.
• Handle supply orders and budget management.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Conduct performance appraisals for staff.
• Coordinate staffing plans with HR.

Jobsite(s):

• Visit and inspect assigned job sites regularly.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Provide training for new employees.
• Supervise special services as scheduled.
• Maintain task assignments and adherence to schedules.

Schedules:

• Create daily work schedules.
• Regular communication with clients.
• Ensure job task sheets are updated.
• Maintain on-call lists for accounts.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Conduct performance evaluations.
• Resolve employee relations issues.
• Report work injuries or illnesses promptly.
• Attend management meetings as required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years managerial experience in multi-site environment or equivalent.
