Role Overview: 

The individual in this role will oversee the daily cleaning operations of the assigned facility, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Additionally, they will train new staff, inspect work, and maintain a safe and professional environment for our clients and employees.  

The schedule for this position requires flexibility but is generally 5PM to 1AM, Monday through Friday. This is an on-site supervisory role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and guidance to on-site custodial staff, ensuring that all team members are performing their duties as assigned. 

• Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, proper equipment use, and routines. 

• Monitor supply inventory and request necessary materials from the office. 

• Fill-in for employees who may be out for various reasons, ensuring that the assigned building is always staffed. 

• Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates, address concerns and share feedback. 

• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and client expectations. 

• Maintain compliance with company and client policies, as well as OSHA regulations. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 

• Prior experience in housekeeping, residential, commercial or industrial cleaning is required. The preferred candidate will have at least 1 year of applicable supervisory experience. 

• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety guidelines 

• Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills 

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment 

Physical Requirements: 

• Endure various physical movements throughout the work area; must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, crouch, and reach overhead and below.  

• Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds frequently. 

• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout shift 

• Ability to climb stairs is required 

• Manual dexterity with the ability to operate small commercial cleaning equipment
