Role: Custodian

Location: Franklin, PA 

Job Overview

We are searching for a hardworking and dependable individual to join our team. The custodian will deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by possessing strong customer service skills while working successfully with other team members.  This position reports to the Production Manager and is located in Franklin, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with  safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Understand directions and respond to supervision.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a neat appearance and professional conduct.

Requirements

• No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Complete all safety and task training certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
