Custodian

Description

 We are looking to add experienced part-time Custodian to join our growing team at our Mahoning County Residential Facility. Meridian HealthCare is committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff members and residents. 

Starting wage for this position begin at $14 per hour, and requires the ability to work a day-turn schedule. 

Daily Expectations and Duties - Overview:

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
• Wipe mirrors and windows
• Maintain outer premises by cleaning entrances
• Clean office spaces

  Qualifications

• Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Attention to detail
• HS Diploma
• Valid driver's license with good driving record preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to lift and move fifty (50) pounds. Custodial experience preferred.
